Casualty Care Course:
Originally developed for casualty care training in maritime search and rescue, this comprehensive 3-day course can be used for lifesaving everywhere, whether for work, volunteering, or in day-to-day life. It qualifies for HSE First Aid at Work certification, which is valid for 3 years.
The course uses a unique aide-memoire check card system, which massively reduces stress during high-pressure situations and leaves participants equipped to treat more illnesses and injuries than most first aid courses. It is accessible for beginners but remains relevant for trained first-aiders or medical professionals who wish to learn a system for casualty care that is thorough and methodical.
Who is it for: This course is designed for 16 + year olds who are thinking about starting a career in emergency medicine or emergency services.
Ability after the course: HSE First Aid at Work & AP Casualty Care certification valid for 3 years. Able to apply theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to safely and effectively administer immediate aid and ongoing treatments to anyone.
Dates: 24th - 28th March, 2025
Location: The course takes place in Tokyo. Specific location to be announced.
Cost: The course is £550. Hot and cold drinks are provided throughout the day, but this fee does not include meals.
Exam Type / Duration: Practical assessments and a final multiple-choice questionnaire examination paper.
Course Materials Provided: Aide-memoire check cards, all necessary medical kit, personal protective equipment.
